Matthew's Gospel emphasizes a four-fold way of
experiencing the presence of God in Jesus and His
community of faith. At different times in our journey of
faith, we may best experience God's presence in different
ones of these ways. Interaction with these ways and representing them is vital.

Many, if not most, of today’s emergent believers seem reluctant to settle for church as a sit down and listen form of faith and worship. That won’t cut it for this get up and go group. But then we have to ask did Jesus ever envision discipleship as such a thing in the first place -- at least the way the modern church has come to portray it?
