from Neil Flemming learning styles VARK: Learning Styles Keep trying Different channels of Learning

A Commitment to Connect ...
Communication is determined by the recipient of the communication. That places a tremendous responsibility on the originator of the communication to find the channel or learning frequency that the target recipient utilizes to learn.
To really dial in to a learner’s frequency, we must be intentional about utilizing all the major channels to connect and support learning. Most of us are not single channel learners, so by using multiple channels and frequencies, we more completely communicate and also reinforce the message and better enable the learning by offering creatively redundant experiences of the message.

We all learn in different ways. Communicators must adapt and broaden their communication styles to cover these different modes of communication if they hope to properly connect with their target audiences.
While these learning styles are certainly culturally conditioned, we would indeed be quite foolish to ignore them.
